Blueberry Honey

Floral Source & Origin

This delightful honey is made from the nectar of the bell-shaped blueberry blossom. Many blueberry farmers will contract with beekeepers for pollination services. On average, crop yields are three times higher when beehives are placed nearby. After the bloom ends, beekeepers retrieve their bee boxes and then get to harvest a very tasty honey. Our current supply of blueberry honey comes from central Oregon.

Flavor Profile

This enchanting honey is thick and medium sweet, with a fun fruity burst that then dissolves into a subtle but lingering berry aftertaste. The berry flavor is not as pronounced as with blackberry honey, but it is still very much there.
