Fennel Pollen

Fennel is a hardy plant indigenous to the shores of the Mediterranean. It has yellow flowers, the pollen of which is the most flavorful and aromatic part of the plant. The pollen is sweet with hints of honey and a flavor somewhat resembling Anise. It has been referred to as "the spice of the angels".
