Quest AT Turbo Putt

Description

COLORS WILL VARY Manufactured By Gotta Go Gotta Throw: Introducing the return of the original Turbo Putt from Quest Applied Technologies! The Turbo Putt is a very unique disc mold that has notches all around the rim and a spiral ridge on the bottom. It is designed for overhand "turbo putting" where the thumb is placed anywhere along the spiral ridge and the fingers are fanned into the grooves along the rim of the disc for launching the disc at the basket. It has become something of a cult classic disc golf disc but is not currently PDGA approved for use in sanctioned events. It was originally approved in 2007, but had its approval rescinded the next year because it was argued that the disc did not have "radial symmetry."  It is definitely not like any other disc on the market and is sure to get attention whenever it is used in recreational play. The PDGA updated their qualifications and definitions for a "Golf Disc" because of this specific disc. Do you believe the PDGA should allow this disc back in sanctioned events?
